How many times have you had the solder wire catch up in the dispensing opening causing the entire spool of solder to drag toward you when you only wanted the wire?  Well, that day is done now thanks to the unique, simple SolderGlide™ feature incorporated into every Zephyrtronics ZT-8001 SolderMill™.  And when coupled with four non-skid rubber feet, you will want to throw away all of your old holders the day you receive ours! That's just how good they are.

Like traditional wire holders, the ZT-8001 helps technicians immediately locate and access the end of the solder strand when it is needed without having to search around the bench saving time and frustration. It's just that SolderMill™ offers so much more.

The SolderGlide™ is "Built In": Each ZT-8001 SolderMill™ incorporates the slick bushing right where the solder wired threads through the dispenser. This simple feature will bring instant satisfaction to any soldering technician who struggles at the bench with their spooled solder wire while at work.

Four Non-Skid Feet: Certainly there are other "spool holders" on the market, but may we point out that the SolderMill™ features four non-skid rubber feet to keep your unit securely in place when you pull and draw the solder...we mention this for, as trivial as it may seem, there are, to our knowledge, no other "spool holders" without this simple, but helpful feature. Further, none have our thoughtful SolderGlide™ feature either.

Space Saving & Economical Design: Understanding and appreciating the value of every square inch at the electronic bench, the SolderMill™  is only a mere 3.5 inches wide, 3.2 inches deep, and 2.2 inches high.

That means that we don't need to pay for ocean freight and a container load to cross the ocean for eight weeks from a slave labor "off-shore facility" in order to market such a simple, but utilitarian and helpful item.

Convenient Loading: How much easier could it be than this? To load a new spool of solder into the SolderMill™, simply lift out the tube/axis by sliding it up, remove the old spool, slide on the new one, and position them back into the ZT-8001 base as shown above.
