The ZT-3 AirPick™ is your all-purpose vacuum handling system for  miniature SMD’s, BGA's and tiny chips typical in micro-electronic production including: chip scale packages, very tiny 201’s, 402’s, 603’s and 805’s. And it is ideal for handling semiconductors, wafers and small, flat surfaced objects like plain and siliconized and plastic cover slides.

The ESD-safe ZT-3 AirPick™ has a self-contained, internal long-life diaphragm vacuum pump relieving technician fatigue from using the physical exertion needed to operate most vacuum tools. No more squeezing bulbs or manipulating difficult buttons, because the ZT-3 has “continuous vacuum.” Each ZT-3 generates approximately 10 inches of mercury in vacuum and an open air flow of about 2 full liters per minute.

No Buttons to Press! Let's be brutally honest: There is nothing more awkward, or that complicates the process of lifting and manipulating a tiny part or chip, if you also required the additional step of having to press a button to start or stop the vacuum. Why? Trying to press a button with with finger pressure when you are already positioning a small device is distracting and it simply adds an unnecessary level of eye/hand coordination to your task. The ZT-3 requires no finger pressure, no button pressing. It's simply a superior approach and design.

The ZT-3 quickly releases parts without residual vacuum problems. The chief complaint by technicians who use other vacuum pick up pens is that they don't easily release the chip. The ZT-3 always releases the chip! The ZT-3 has a lighted power switch, a 3-wire power cord, seven ESD safe suction cups, non-skid rubber feet, most of all, a a slim-line, featherweight hand-piece!

Each ZT-3 AirPick™ is factory calibrated so vacuum balances the need for lifting the largest of SMD’s and chips, without excessive suction which can lift pads. This is critically important for those who rework with LowMelt®.

Engineered with the technician in mind, the ZT-3Air Pick™ features a holder integrated right into the center of the design (for right or left handed users) which helps protect and extend the life of delicate suction cups during the rigors of work activity.
