The ZT-3 AirPick™ is your all-purpose vacuum handling system for the miniature SMD’s, BGA's and tiny chips typical of today’s micro-electronic production including: chip scale packages (CSP’s) and the very tiny 201’s, 402’s, 603’s, and 805’s. And it is ideal for handling wafers and small, flat surfaced objects such as plain and siliconized cover slides, as well as microscope glass and plastic slides.

The ESD-safe ZT-3 AirPick™ has a self-contained, long-life diaphragm vacuum pump relieving technician fatigue from using the physical exertion needed to operate most vacuum tools. No more squeezing bulbs or manipulating difficult buttons -- because the ZT-3 has “continuous vacuum.” And every ZT-3 generates approximately 10 inches of mercury in vacuum with an open air flow of approximately 2 liters per minute.

The ZT-3 quickly releases parts without residual vacuum problems -- one of the biggest complaints by technicians using other methods: they don't easily release the chip. The ZT-3 never has such a problem!  The ZT-3 also has a lighted power switch, a 3-wire power cord, ESD-safe suction cups and a slim-line, featherweight hand-piece! Engineered with the technician in mind, the ZT-3 has a pyramidal-designed holder for the AirPick™ hand-piece integrated right into the center of the design for either right or left handed technicians.
