Absolutely ideal for working with low-velocity hot air reflow
BGA equipment and tools (such as the
Zephyrtronics ZT-7 BGA & SMT Reflow System) this unique RMA
flux is more “active” than most rosin fluxes, but without the
conductivity typically associated with that genre...making it so
well suited for sensitive electronic components.
The tightly controlled surface tension of the
BGA Flux™ yields a uniform head of tiny bubbles under
the chip when heated with low-velocity hot air enhancing the
BGA process. |

More Details: Residue removal? Because the
Zephlux
BGA Flux™ is dry and virtually inert after solder
reflow (either during placement or removal), removal of the
flux is not even required. In fact, the residual rosin is
nonconductive and non-corrosive. Further, it is moisture and
fungus resistant. Indeed, any dried rosin residue from the
BGA Flux™ can actually
insulate the surface from atmospheric corrosion. Still, the
residue is easily removed with most flux removers.

specification MIL-F-14256, our new Zephlux™
