The  AT-939 SMD, QFN & BGA Hot Air Rework Station is your economic solution for soldering and de-soldering IC's, SMD's, BGA's, QFN's, capacitors and resistors. The AT-939 provides digital set and read functions on the control panel and has variable air flow to 24 liters/minute in volume. Your temperature range is 150° to 500°C ((302°F - 932°F) and, unlike other "hot air stations", it features accurate, closed-loop temperature sensing control. Call us. While primarily an SMD de-soldering tool, the AT-939 Hot Air Rework Station is also very helpful with soldering troublesome QFN's where the thermal pad (e-pad) underneath the chip is sometimes difficult to reflow. The hot air nozzles are not limited to just QFN's, but also are ideal for de-soldering PLCC's, QFP's, SOL's, SOIC's, LCC's and, yes, even BGA's and more. While the AT-939ESD Digital Hot Air Rework Station is a "stand alone" system and does not require preheating, still the optimum  process would also include preheating the PCB from below with permits to reflow from above with lower temperatures following the proven production thermal profile. We have the largest selection of PCB preheating options to fit any budget on earth.

The hot air hand-piece of the AT-939ESD weighs only 1/4 of a single pound (120 grams) making it one of the lightest hot air rework tools currently on the market and reduces fatigue.
