Applicator brushes (acid
brushes) are essential tools in labs and at the bench for
cleaning and scrubbing away flux from the circuit board with
solvents to remove flux, especially with plated through-hole
chips (PTH). Manufactured
for industrial use and for scrubbing with flux
removers, the bristles are retained within the lightweight,
but sturdy tin handles by double clamping for maximum
fiber retention. Our
acid
brushes excel at heavy-duty
printed circuit board scrubbing and cleaning tasks after
soldering and desoldering thru-hole devices such as
connectors, transformers, pin grid arrays, IC’s, resistors
and capacitors.

With optimum brushing capacities with most chemicals including
most solvents and flux removers, they are ideal for
applying most flux to PCB's, such as R, RA, RMA, "no clean"
and water soluble formulations.
The brushes help clean
those hard-to-get-to-corners and tight spots typical of
today’s dense printed circuit board assemblies.
Caution: Never use brushes while working on live circuits.
